Editorial Policy

This page explains exactly how zpromptify produces its comparisons, and — just as importantly — what it does not do. We publish it so readers can judge how much weight to give our conclusions.

What This Site Is

zpromptify is a research and curation site. Our comparisons are built by reading and cross-referencing primary sources: each vendor's official product documentation, their published pricing pages, their stated commercial and licensing terms, publicly released benchmarks, and independent reviews and user reports.

What This Site Is Not

We want to be unambiguous about this: zpromptify does not run a hands-on testing lab. We do not claim to have personally benchmarked every tool we write about, and we do not publish numeric scores or star ratings, because a precise-looking rating implies a measurement process we do not perform. Where a tool's real-world quality is contested or unclear, we say so rather than inventing a verdict.

If you need rigorous, reproducible benchmarks, we will point you to the independent sources that produce them rather than pretend to be one.

How We Compare

Each comparison looks at the same dimensions, so tools in a category can be read side by side:

• Documented capability — what the vendor states the tool does, and the limits they disclose;
• Workflow fit — integrations, collaboration features, and what adopting it actually requires;
• Published pricing — normalized to a comparable per-seat or per-unit basis;
• Category-specific criteria — e.g. commercial licensing terms for image and video generators, or compliance and bias-audit documentation for HR and legal tools.

Every factual claim is sourced in the References & Bibliography section at the end of each article, so you can verify it yourself rather than take our word for it.

Update Cadence

The AI tools market moves quickly. We review and refresh our comparison articles periodically to reflect new pricing, features, and product releases; the "Last updated" date at the top of each article reflects the most recent review.

Corrections Policy

If you spot outdated pricing, an inaccurate claim, or a broken link, please tell us via our Contact page. We correct verified errors promptly and welcome the scrutiny.
